ARK: Survival Ascended has the Baryonyx as a tamable, piscivore creature that survivors will run into in the wild. It's in the DMG category.
Starting with 440 Health, it's decently tanky. Its base Melee Damage is at 100%, giving solid damage output. Stamina is at 325 base, offering moderate endurance. A base Weight of 325 means you get a lot of inventory space.
To tame the Baryonyx, you need to knock it out with torpor weapons, then feed it while it's down. Use Regular Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness boost.
Once tamed, the Baryonyx is mainly used for gathering resources, especially good at collecting specific materials. Breeding it drops fertilized eggs that hatch in a 29°C–35°C temperature range. A wild Baryonyx gives 5 base experience when killed. You can clone it at a Cloning Chamber for 0.52 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
