The new owners of this old farmhouse have been busy repairing the exterior, rebuilding the front porch, putting up new drywall in one of the bedrooms (where there had been some water damage), , and growing a lovely pumpkin patch in the front field of their farmland. Now, before updating the interior of the house, they've decided to build a 2-story addition to the existing structure—the general framing has begun, but they don't have a specific plan yet. More family living space and a roomy master bedroom & bath are on the wishlist, with space for a home office for parents who work remotely.
They've written to #DesignMeDevon and are hoping that he'll bring his vision for a fabulous renovation!
(Because my updated terrain paints don't convey when you place this on your own lot, you'll have to replace the grain crops/farm fields with grass or wildflowers in order to see the pumpkins! This is built on the Melino lot that only has a field of cows, next door to another farmhouse.)
