Child- and Youthcare Worker Career [WiP]

This Mod contains 2 Careers around Daycares up to Youth Welfare.

Childcare Work Career

The Little Owl Daycare is a staple of Melino, having existed for nearly a century. Almost everyone who grew up here spent their time in that colourful brick building that just recently experienced its 3rd rebuild. Newer, bigger, better! Based on a new governmental bill that is demanding higher quality in daycares and beyond. This means that the once “little” Little Owl Daycare requires more and specialized personnel.

Prove yourself in this stressful, yet rewarding environment, fueled by way too much coffee, and lay the groundwork for future generations. The payment is subject to change, but the smile of a child is worth much more than any Paradime!

-4 career paths (Childcare Worker, Music Educator, Sport Educator (new), and Daycare Director)

Youth Welfare Career

Sadly, not every child or teenager has a fair chance growing up. Mental issues, unstable families, and poverty are just a few of the many reasons why they are in need of a safe place outside their families and homes.

The Pestalozzi Youth Center, founded a decade ago in an unused wing of Melinos Central Hospital, is dedicated to supporting those in need. With 2 fully stationary residential groups and 4 groups in their day treatment facility.

In Order to keep up this possibility, they are in desperate need of new personnel, something this sector is sadly all too used to.

-currently 2 career paths (Youthcare Worker and Residential Educator)

-flexible, yet sometimes challenging timetables

-Balancing of payment and especially required traits is subject to change (feedback would be awesome!)

FUTURE PLANS

Some of them may take a while or are currently not possible, but definitely something I want to work on.

-Turning this Rabbit Hole Career into an active one (at least a few, if not all, of the career paths)

-working on more career paths

-changing the workplace banners to self-made ones (currently randomized, unlike basegame jobs)

-dedicated skills and trainings (for example, reading articles online or attending online classes to level up skills like “pedagogy” or “psychology” as well as others) -adding the wishes to pursue careers in those two domains (like the wish for a musician to work in the music industry)

-Balancing!!!

The names are a big issue for me, since trying to find the English equivalent to jobs here in Germany is quite hard, and so they might not always match.
