Veilwater Basin
The Alchemy Of Bean And Water
Lore from the journal's Veilwater Basin pages: 3 entries, read at 3 places in Blackmire.
One for tough warriors:
Take roasted beans, ground fine as dust, and mingle them with hot water. Let the brew be dark and bitter - a strong potion to rouse the spirit and quicken the mind.
Brew the ground beans in water as is custom, then soften the brew with milk until the bitterness fades.
The result: a smooth, warm, and pleasant cup I'd like to call this creation: Latte
A sweet comfort in weary hours:
Grind the beans and steep them in water - add sugar, that the flavor be full and kind
A Sweet Mokka is prepared.
