Shadowmane is a land-based carnivore in ARK: Survival Ascended, earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. Tamed via passive taming (Filled Fish Basket (1.5x Fish) is the optimal food), this carnivore enters service with 425 base Weight, providing a solid weight pool. It gives live birth after a gestation period, with offspring maturing over a lengthy period. Its harvest profile centers on Keratin, Raw Meat, Hide, making farming runs noticeably faster. Players target Shadowmane once they need a reliable workhorse beyond the starter mounts.
