X-Woolly Rhino Egg & Breeding Calculator

The X-Woolly Rhino gives live birth after mating, skipping the egg-incubation step entirely. Gestation takes approximately 4 hours at default rates.

The baby X-Woolly Rhino takes approximately 1 day and 22 hours to fully mature at default rates - slowly. The most labor-intensive part is the baby phase (0–10% maturation) when it can't use a Feeding Trough yet.

Each baby inherits stats from both parents with a chance of mutation - +2 wild levels to a random stat plus a color change. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.

Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~278 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~19h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~23h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.

Don't skip imprinting - each successful imprint boosts the X-Woolly Rhino's stats, and hitting 100% grants a 30% combat bonus when the imprinter rides it. Keep various kibble types on hand, as imprint requests are randomized between cuddles, walks, and kibble feeding.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.

Found throughout the ARKs, the X-Woolly Rhino is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It falls within the Variant classification.

Starting at 485 Health, it's reasonably durable. With 105% base Melee Damage, the X-Woolly Rhino has respectable melee power. Its base Stamina of 120 gives it limited endurance. It carries 750 base Weight - massive inventory space.

Taming the X-Woolly Rhino requires rendering it unconscious first - use Tranq Arrows, Darts, or Shocking Tranq Darts to apply torpor. Feed it Superior Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.

Once tamed, the X-Woolly Rhino pulls double duty as both a capable resource harvester and pack animal. Breeding is via live birth rather than eggs, simplifying the process. Killing a wild X-Woolly Rhino yields 4 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.39 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
