Found throughout the ARKs, the Phiomia is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Farmer category.
At 300 base HP, the Phiomia is reasonably durable. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Phiomia has solid damage output. With 300 base Stamina, the Phiomia has moderate endurance. A base Weight of 200 means a reasonable inventory size.
You'll need to knock the Phiomia unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. Feed it Basic Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
After taming, the Phiomia is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. Breeding is via live birth rather than eggs, simplifying the process.
