Phiomia Egg & Breeding Calculator

After hatching or birth, the baby Phiomia matures requiring significant patience, reaching adulthood in about 2 days at 1x maturation. Hand-feeding is required until 10% maturation. After that, a Feeding Trough handles the rest.

Mutations can add +2 levels to any stat and change colors. Stacking mutations across generations is the key to min-maxed breeding lines. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.

The hatched dinosaur, now a baby, needs constant attention and food placed directly in its inventory to survive, or a nearby Maewing to take care of its needs.
Juvenile

9:44:47
The dinosaur reaches the juvenile stage, where it can now eat from a feeding trough, reducing the need for direct feeding.
Adolescent
50% - 100%
12:10:59
The dinosaur reaches the adolescent stage, becoming more independent and able to follow you while continuing to grow toward full maturity.

Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~292 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~19h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~24h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.

Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted Phiomia gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.

Planning a mass raise? The Phiomia raising calculator breaks down food needs per phase so nothing goes to waste. The Baby phase (0–10%) takes ~292 minutes and is the most hands-on, requiring direct feeding or a Maewing.

Raising multiple Phiomia simultaneously? Set the dino count and the calculator scales food requirements automatically. Match your food choice to your play schedule - longer spoil timers mean less babysitting.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.

Found throughout the ARKs, the Phiomia is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Farmer category.

At 300 base HP, the Phiomia is reasonably durable. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Phiomia has solid damage output. With 300 base Stamina, the Phiomia has moderate endurance. A base Weight of 200 means a reasonable inventory size.

You'll need to knock the Phiomia unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. Feed it Basic Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.

After taming, the Phiomia is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. A wild Phiomia is worth 1 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.47 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
