The Parrot is a tamable, flying, omnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Shoulder Pet category.
Starting at 150 Health, it's relatively fragile. Melee starts at 100% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. Stamina sits at 150 base, providing average stamina. A base Weight of 65 means minimal inventory space.
This is a passive tame: no tranquilizers needed. Get close without startling it, then offer food from your last hotbar slot. Its preferred food is Basic Kibble.
As a tame, the Parrot works well as a reconnaissance mount, offering fast travel and a bird's-eye view of the terrain. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 24°C–28°C temperature window. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.28 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
