Palaeoctopus Spawn Command Generator

The spawn command tool lets you create console commands for spawning a Palaeoctopus with your desired settings. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.

ARK supports several command types: "Summon" spawns a random-level creature at your crosshair, "SpawnDino" lets you set coordinates and level, and "GMSummon" spawns a force-tamed creature. For a ready-to-ride Palaeoctopus, GMSummon is the way to go. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.

Spawn Wild Palaeoctopus at level

SpawnDino spawns a wild Palaeoctopus at level 150.

Tame Wild Palaeoctopus

ForceTame tames any dinosaur and makes it rideable without a saddle, and DoTame only tames tamable creatures.
Both tame the creature you are currently looking at.

ARK: Survival Ascended features the Palaeoctopus as a tamable, carnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. It falls within the Water classification.

Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it decent hitting power. With 1,050 base Health, the Palaeoctopus is solidly tanky. Stamina sits at 400 base, providing solid stamina reserves. A base Weight of 1000 means an enormous weight pool.

To tame the Palaeoctopus, you need to knock it unconscious using torpor weapons, then feed it while it's down. For best results, use Black Pearl - it gives the highest taming efficiency.

Once tamed, the Palaeoctopus combines solid harvesting capability with generous carrying capacity. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a -75°C–75°C temperature window. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.85 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
