ARK supports several command types: "Summon" spawns a random-level creature at your crosshair, "SpawnDino" lets you set coordinates and level, and "GMSummon" spawns a force-tamed creature. GMSummon is the most convenient for getting a tamed Mesopithecus immediately. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.
Found throughout the ARKs, the Mesopithecus is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Shoulder Pet group.
Stamina sits at 100 base, providing tires quickly. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Mesopithecus brings respectable melee power to the table. Starting at 115 Health, it's very frail. It carries 70 base Weight - very limited carrying capacity.
The Mesopithecus is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out. Its preferred food is Basic Kibble.
Once tamed, the Mesopithecus earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. Breeding is via live birth rather than eggs, simplifying the process. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.23 Element plus 0 Element per level.
