Survivors looking at Mesopithecus in ARK: Survival Ascended will find a land-based herbivore that earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. It is a herbivore tamed through passive taming, with Basic Kibble as its top-tier food, and brings 100% base Melee Damage, giving it respectable melee power to the table. It gives live birth after a gestation period, with offspring maturing over a lengthy period. Once tamed it harvests Hide, Raw Meat more efficiently than most player tools.
