The Lymantria, a tamable, flying, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a common sight across multiple maps. It belongs to the Flyer category.
With 260 base Health, the Lymantria is on the squishy side. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Lymantria brings respectable melee power to the table. With 150 base Stamina, the Lymantria has average stamina. A base Weight of 175 means modest carrying capacity.
Taming the Lymantria requires rendering it unconscious first - use Tranq Arrows, Darts, or Shocking Tranq Darts to apply torpor. Feed it Regular Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
Once tamed, the Lymantria works well as a reconnaissance mount, offering fast travel and a bird's-eye view of the terrain. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 35°C and 38°C.
