Found across 9 maps in mountains, cliffsides, and elevated terrain. Green zones have the highest spawn density. Each species has a population cap per area, so wiping out other creatures nearby can trigger new Lightning Wyvern spawns.
Found throughout the ARKs, the Lightning Wyvern is a tamable, flying, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Flyer group.

After taming, the Lightning Wyvern is commonly used for scouting and quick travel between locations. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 80°C and 90°C. Defeating one in the wild grants 120 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.82 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
