Overview
The Lightning Wyvern is a flying carnivore known for its powerful electric attacks and aerial dominance. It excels at harvesting resources from trees and bushes while mounted, making it a versatile gatherer in the sky. Its Taunt ability pulls in a wide range of plant-based resources, greatly speeding up collection. It can be airlifted by Quetzal or Karkinos for fast deployment.
Players tame the Lightning Wyvern primarily for its efficient gathering and strong combat presence in cave zones.
Spawn Locations

Taming
The Lightning Wyvern is tamed by stealing and incubating its egg. The best food is Kibble (Argentavis Egg), which provides the fastest taming. Raw Mutton also works well. The creature must be immobilized first using a Chain Bola, Bear Trap, Large Bear Trap, or Plant Species Y.

Gathering Abilities
While ridden, the Lightning Wyvern gathers using its Taunt ability, pulling in a wide range of resources. It excels at harvesting Wood, Mejoberry, Narcoberry, Stimberry, Rare Flower, and Fiber with a 10x multiplier. Cactus Sap is gathered at 8x efficiency. No other attacks yield resources.
Damage Resistances
The Lightning Wyvern has a +400% weakness to spike walls, making them extremely effective for defense. It also takes +120% damage from instant damage sources like explosives. Conversely, it is fully immune to Mining Drill Harvest and Melee Wyvern ElectricBeam damage. It takes 50% less damage from projectile impacts and small turrets. Level Health and Melee Damage.
