Higher melee depletes the corpse faster, which can reduce total drops. All dinos get the same resource distribution from a given corpse - the difference is total drops from base damage.

Found throughout the ARKs, the Lava Elemental is a minerals creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Ignore category.

Its base Stamina of 300 gives it average stamina. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Lava Elemental has decent hitting power. Starting at 60,000 Health, it's one of the toughest creatures in the game. A base Weight of 660 means massive inventory space.
