Instead of laying eggs, the Erymanthian carries its young through a gestation period. Gestation takes approximately 8 hours at default rates.

The baby Erymanthian takes approximately 2 days to fully mature at default rates - slowly. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.

Mutations can add +2 levels to any stat and change colors. Stacking mutations across generations is the key to min-maxed breeding lines. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.

Raising a baby Erymanthian involves three maturation phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~292 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~19h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~24h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.

Don't skip imprinting - each successful imprint boosts the Erymanthian's stats, and hitting 100% grants a 30% combat bonus when the imprinter rides it. Imprint requests include cuddling, walks, and specific kibble - check the wiki for which kibble to stockpile.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.

The Erymanthian is one of ARK: Survival Ascended's boss creatures, fought in its own arena with a prepared team. It falls within the Boss classification.

Starting at 900 Health, it's impressively tough. Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it decent hitting power. Stamina sits at 250 base, providing decent staying power. Weight capacity starts at 400, giving it generous inventory space.

After taming, the Erymanthian guards its arena fiercely - come prepared with your best creatures and gear. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward. Killing a wild Erymanthian yields 1500 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.67 Element plus 0 Element per level.
