Basilisk
The Basilisk spawns on 5 maps, typically found in forests, swamps, and mountain regions. Green cells indicate high spawn density, red means low. Click a cell to see exact spawn chance. If you can't find any, try clearing creatures nearby to free up the population cap.
The Basilisk is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the DMG group.
Starting at 2,750 Health, it's extremely durable. Melee starts at 100% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. Its base Stamina of 650 gives it exceptional endurance. Weight capacity starts at 800, giving it massive inventory space.
This is a passive tame: no tranquilizers needed. Get close without startling it, then offer food from your last hotbar slot. Its preferred food is Fertilized Voidwyrm Egg.
As a tame, the Basilisk pulls double duty as both a capable resource harvester and pack animal. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 32°C–38°C temperature window. Killing a wild Basilisk yields 4 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.78 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
