Basilisk Overview

In ARK: Survival Ascended, Basilisk occupies the harvester transport niche - pulls double duty as both a capable resource harvester and pack animal. As a carnivore, it responds to passive taming - favoring Fertilized Voidwyrm Egg - and ships with 2,750 base Health - extremely durable. It reproduces by laying fertilized eggs that incubate between 32°C and 38°C, with babies maturing over many real-world days, demanding serious time investment. Its harvest profile centers on Hide, Raw Meat, Raw Prime Meat, making farming runs noticeably faster. Players who invest in one tend to keep it long after the early game has been left behind.
