Found throughout the ARKs, the Achatina is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Farmer category.
Starting at 75 Health, it's very frail. Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Achatina brings solid damage output to the table. With 100 base Stamina, the Achatina has low stamina reserves. A base Weight of 60 means not built for hauling.
You'll need to knock the Achatina unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. Feed it Sweet Vegetable Cake for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
After taming, the Achatina is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.69 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
