The Aberrant Anglerfish is a carnivorous aquatic creature variant found in underwater zones. It emits a unique bioluminescent glow that aids in navigating dark environments. This dino is primarily tamed for its ability to gather high-value resources like Black Pearl and Silica Pearls efficiently while underwater. It can be airlifted by Quetzal or Karkinos for fast deployment.
It is highly effective in pearl farming due to its specialized harvesting mechanics. Players often use it in coordinated underwater expeditions where resource yield and mobility are critical.

Taming requires a knockout method using sedation. The best food is Regular Kibble, which provides the fastest taming effectiveness. Raw Mutton also works well if kibble is unavailable. Use a Bow with Tranq Arrows or a Longneck Rifle with Tranquilizer Darts for efficient sedation. Expect to use around 201 Narcotics. The full tame takes about 51 minutes.
