33 areas with their descriptions and 60 dungeons of Verteron.
Dawn Legion Base
A secret base built by the Dawn Legion in Verteron's Cantas Valley. It is hidden deep in the cliff and used as a hideout from the Balaur.
Western Cantas Valley
The western region of the Cantas Valley. Since Odylium was discovered here and a number of collectors were installed, it has long served as a key source of Odylium for the Daeva for some time. The Dawn Legion has repaired the collectors and is gathering the scarce Odyle.
Eastern Cantas Valley
The eastern region of the Cantas Valley. Groups of refugees attempting to flee to the Dawn Legion often pass through. The area is relatively dangerous due to the lack of Dawn Legion presence.
Ellun River Marsh
A marsh downstream of the Ellun River that flows through Verteron. There was once a Verteron Barrier Tower, but it was destroyed by the Balaur.
Contaminated Marsh
A contaminated marsh downstream of the Ellun River flowing through Verteron, now uninhabitable due to the wastewater from the Balaur's Drana Plantation.
Ellun River Meadow
A grassland located between the Eastern Cantas Valley and the Ellun River Marsh. The area still remains unpolluted and pristine.
Ellun River Midstream
The middle stretches of the Ellun River, which flows through Verteron. It has a relatively clean environment.
Verteron Fortress Ruins
A fortress that served as an Abyss Gate and repelled invaders into Verteron. It was destroyed and rebuilt many times during the long war with the Balaur, but was eventually abandoned altogether once Daeva had grown too thin. It is now garrisoned and managed by Krall.
Wind Breeze Merchants HQ
Headquarters of the Wind Breeze Merchants, who trade mainly in Verteron. The Shugo of the Wind Breeze Merchants settled here as they set a high value on the Biruta leaves grow in Tolbas Forest.
Northern Tolbas Forest
The northern part of Tolbas Forest, adjacent to the Verteron Fortress Ruins. Dangerous animals and plants can be found here.
Southern Tolbas Forest
The southern part of Tolbas Forest, and a popular hiding place for bandits and marauders.
Eastern Tolbas Forest
The border between the Tolbas Forest and the Aullaeu Village. It is the site of a war of nerves between the Shugo of Wind Breeze Merchants and the Urugugu tribe of Aullaeu.
Aullaeu Village
This is a settlement of the Urugugu tribe, an Aullaeu people who followed Tiamat and migrated from the Dragon World. Now they worship Ishtar instead of Tiamat.
Forest of Exiles
A forest on the outskirts of the Aullaeu Village. It is home to Holyaul, a former ritualist of the Urugugu tribe, and his followers, who were exiled by Aulamus.
Pilgrim's Ridge
This place was called the Pilgrim's Ridge Path because it was a must-stop for those visiting the Zumion Temple and the Ardus Shrine.
Zumion Village
A village formed by Daeva and humans fleeing the Balaur, and home base of the Notos Legion. It is located within ancient ruins hidden in Altamia Canyon, and was once submerged underwater alongside the Zumion Temple, only to reemerge when the topography of Altamia Canyon changed due to wars between Elyos, Asmodians, and Balaur.
Ancient Zumion Temple Site
The site of a temple was built to honor Zumion, the first Daeva, when AION was whole and Elysea and Asmodae were one. It was blessed by AION and flourished as a holy place for many years, but fell into ruin after the war.
Western Altamia Highland
The elevated areas of the western highlands and canyon region surrounding Zumion Village. Rock Tomb Hill and vast grasslands stretch across the area.
Eastern Altamia Highland
The elevated areas of the western highlands and canyon region surrounding Zumion Village. Includes the former site of Zumion Temple and the area contaminated by the poison of Meslamtaeda.
Altamia Canyon
A canyon in eastern Verteron. Legend has it that the canyon's intricate and majestic terrain was formed under the influence of Etheria and the Spirit King. The area is monitored closely by the Notos Legion.
Southern Altamia Highland
A plateau in the highland and canyon region of eastern Verteron, including the former site of Zumion Temple and the area contaminated by the poison of Meslamtaeda.
Rock Tomb Hill
A hill in the Altamia Highland filled with giant rocks that stand like gravestones. Originally a peaceful place, but after the war and Balaur invasion, this hill became a refuge for Daeva subjected to Balaur experiments. They soon turned into egoless Sura and now wander the hill aimlessly. Later on, with Renegade Daeva also finding refuge here, Rock Tomb Hill has earned a notorious reputation as a dangerous, lawless area.
Destroyed Temple Site
The ground of the ruins of the Altamia Highland. The Zumion Temple and its surroundings, submerged by extreme weather after the Last War, have risen to the surface.
Contaminated Sanctum
An old sanctum where the priests of the Zumion Temple held meetings and prayed until it was destroyed by Meslamtaeda, leaving only a few stepping stones and pillars. Following Meslamtaeda's invasion, the surviving priests sealed Meslamtaeda's Poison Blood in the Purifying Altar, but the seal has since broken, resulting in a dangerous place filled with leaking poison and rampaging Guardite.
Garden of the Illusion God
A sanctum built by order of Kaisinel, Spiritmaster and God of Illusion. It was once a beautiful garden where spirits and fairies were bornbut after years left untended during the long war and Kaisinel's disappearance, it became a dangerous place where powerful spirits raged uncontrollably.
Kraka Footpath
A hill named after a legendary Tursin Krall chieftain. Also serving as a path to the Drana Plantation and the Balaur Stronghold, its proximity to these locations means there is a significant risk of encountering Balaur minions.
Drana Plantation
A place where Drana trees are grown and harvested for Drana fruit, managed by individuals who have been modified and enhanced by the Balaur, for whom it is a vital food source. In the past, Drana fruit had to be harvested and processed by hand, but devices have since been developed that allow the extraction of energy directly from the Drana tree itself, before being collected in repositories and fed directly into the Balaur Fortress. At the center of the Drana Plantation looms Ishtar's imposing Power Tower.
Nahid Brigade Fortress
A Nahid Brigade Fortress under Dragon Lord Ishtar. This place also works as a bio-research station, with facilities for the confinement and study of the Daeva.
Scarlet Forest
A forest near the Drana Plantation and Nahid Brigade Fortress, with vegetation turned red by the influence of Drana. Escaped Sura and Daeva Wraiths roam between the trees, and Balaur scouts are on regular patrols.
Drana Cultivation Area
An area where the Balaur have concentrated their Drana cultivation. A huge Drana condensation root has small Drana trees and devices attached to it, the latter of which are maintained by workers.
Drana Processing Area
An area where the Drana harvested from the Drana Cultivation Area is transported or processed. There are a lot of pipelines and repositories that branch out from the power conversion unit.
Eternal Isle
A sky island floating on the outskirts of Elysea, rich in Odyle ever since its creation. As Odyle depleted, an imbalance formed between the island and the ground below, giving rise to a colossal Odyle Storm that engulfed the skies around it, and only recently was a way discovered to pierce through the storm and reach the island's heart. The storm has kept the island untouched, maintaining the original environment from before AION's collapse, dominated by diverse flora infused with Odyle.
Crimson Isle
An island that has grown uninhabitable after being polluted by waste from Nahid Fortress. Krao minerals grow throughout the island due to the influence of Drana, and a number of legions have set out to investigate.
