- Secure rebreather around mouth and nose. Connect air tank to rebreather. Dive below 100 meters.
- BACKGROUND
- In a standard open-circuit diving regulator, most of the oxygen in each breath is exhaled into the sea. Below 100m, where each breath requires more and more air, this waste becomes critical.
- A closed-circuit rebreather allows the diver to take the same breath over and over: literally re-breathing. The rebreather's system-on-a-chip automatically scrubs carbon dioxide or adds fresh oxygen when necessary.
- Rebreathers also reduce the number of bubbles emitted by a diver, slightly reducing the chance of unwanted attention and pursuit.
