How the calculator works
The Subnautica 2 crafting calculator pulls every recipe in the current Early Access build and lets you queue up the items you want to craft. Search by name, set the quantity, then read off the total materials needed. Switch between Direct ingredients (the immediate recipe inputs) and Raw materials (every dependency expanded recursively until you hit terminal harvestable resources).
Raw mode is the one you usually want when planning a dive: it tells you exactly how much Titanium, Copper, Quartz and so on to grab before heading back to base. Direct mode is cleaner when you already have intermediate components stockpiled and only need to top up the final ingredients.
The calculator queues are local-only. Nothing is saved or shared with our servers, so you can plan freely and reload whenever you need a fresh slate. Material counts always round up: even a fractional ingredient (rare in SN2 but possible through nested recipes) is counted as one whole resource because the game won't let you craft with half an item.
Recipes reflect the current Early Access build, so the calculator updates the moment Unknown Worlds ships a patch. Each row in the result panel links to the source item, so you can hop into the item detail page to check its own recipe, drop sources or station requirements.
