It takes three species, and Sabertooth Salmon is worth about three and a half times a Piranha, so it is worth the swim. Size scales the value directly, so a bigger corpse counts for proportionally more, while the Otter's own level does not change what one fish gives: a higher level simply needs more of them.

Fish size
Progress scales straight off the size of the fish you drag over, so a larger corpse is worth proportionally more.
- There is no cooldown between fish, so this goes as fast as you can catch them and drag them over. The only clock is your own.
- Drag the fish corpse up to the Otter rather than putting it in your inventory. It eats what you are carrying.
- Each one is worth the same no matter its level. Higher levels simply need more of them.
