A Lustron House

An imperfect attempt at replicating a Lustron house, also known as "the home of the future," "the house of tomorrow," and "that house from Fallout 4." I'm an enthusiast of these little lunchbox houses, but by no means am I an expert. Still, I tried to remain as faithful as possible to the original design, and without doing anything particularly illegal with the current (the day after Early Access release) iteration of Paralives' build mode. No tricks or custom content was used in making this Lustron-alike, so it should remain usable far into the future, like real cared-for Lustrons. Feel free to improve on what I've done here should better assets come along! Lot comes with the basic amenities and some characterful details but is otherwise unfurnished. Without analogues for the built-ins characteristic of Lustrons, the various shelving and cabinetry is left to your interpretation. I recommend looking at photographs of real Lustrons for ideas on how to use and decorate the space. Better yet, visit an actual Lustron which has been converted into a museum or vacation rental, if you can. They're out there! Of course, remember that this is a relatively small American-style house from the mid-20th century. A small family will be cozy here, but stuffing more than four parafolk between these white metal walls is likely to induce headaches. Like the asbestos-lined asphalt floors of an unrenovated Lustron! Two bedroom, one (very small) bath. Under $12,000 - very affordable to place and furnish if you're going for a budget build!
