13のマップで山や崖、高台などで見つかる。グリーンゾーンに出現密度が最も高い。各種はエリアごとに個体数上限があるため、周辺の他のモンスターを倒すと新しいワイバーンがスポーンする可能性がある。

ワイバーンの死体からはHide、Raw Prime Meat、Sulfurを採取できる。死体の採取耐久値は520で、完全に枯渇するまでに複数回の採取が可能だ。
