ARK: Survival Ascended has the Ferox RV as a tamable, carnivore creature that survivors will run into in the wild. It's part of the Variant group.

In terms of Health, the Ferox RV has a base of 1,100, making it pretty tanky. Its base Melee Damage is at 100%, giving it solid damage output. With 1000 base Stamina, the Ferox RV has huge stamina reserves. A base Weight of 350 means you get a lot of inventory space.

To tame the Ferox RV, you need to knock it out with torpor weapons, then feed it while it's down. Simple Kibble is the best food for taming, giving the highest affinity per feeding.

As a tame, the Ferox RV is a general-purpose mount, flexible for whatever your tribe needs. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding easy. Beating one in the wild gives you 3 base XP. You can clone it at a Cloning Chamber for 0.23 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
