Triceratopo Abilities

The Triceratopo is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Soaker category.

Starting at 375 Health, it's reasonably durable. Melee starts at 100% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. With 150 base Stamina, the Triceratopo has moderate endurance. A base Weight of 365 means a solid weight pool.

The Triceratopo is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. For best results, use Simple Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.

Once tamed, the Triceratopo is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 22°C–28°C temperature window. A wild Triceratopo is worth 4 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.23 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
