The Tidepup, a tamable carnivore in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a common sight across multiple maps. It belongs to the Shoulder Pet category.
With 100 base Stamina, the Tidepup has low stamina reserves. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Tidepup has decent hitting power. Starting at 100 Health, it's extremely fragile. Weight capacity starts at 150, giving it a reasonable inventory size.
Once tamed, the Tidepup is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between -75°C and 75°C. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.5 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
