The Parasauro Tek, a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a common sight across multiple maps. Classified under the Variant group.
Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Parasauro Tek brings solid damage output to the table. Starting at 200 Health, it's not particularly tanky. Stamina sits at 450 base, providing solid stamina reserves. A base Weight of 480 means good carrying capacity.
You'll need to knock the Parasauro Tek unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. Feed it Basic Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
Once tamed, the Parasauro Tek is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 24°C and 28°C. Killing a wild Parasauro Tek yields 1 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.14 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
