Its base Melee Damage sits at 100%, giving it decent hitting power. With 1,050 base Health, the Palaeoctopus is solidly tanky. Stamina sits at 400 base, providing solid stamina reserves. A base Weight of 1000 means an enormous weight pool.

To tame the Palaeoctopus, you need to knock it unconscious using torpor weapons, then feed it while it's down. For best results, use Raw Mutton - it gives the highest taming efficiency.
