Megaterio Abilities

The Megaterio is a tamable, omnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the DMG group.

With 740 base Health, the Megaterio is quite durable. Melee starts at 100% - decent hitting power that scales with level-ups. Its base Stamina of 400 gives it solid stamina reserves. Weight capacity starts at 725, giving it an enormous weight pool.

The Megaterio is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. For best results, use Superior Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.

As a tame, the Megaterio combines solid harvesting capability with generous carrying capacity. It gives live birth after a gestation period, making breeding straightforward. Defeating one in the wild grants 4 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.67 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
