Survivors who check out the Mammut in ARK: Survival Ascended will see it's a land-based herbivore mainly used for gathering resources, really good at collecting specific materials. Tamed via knock-out taming (Superior Kibble is the best food), this herbivore comes in with 500 base Weight, giving you massive inventory space. It gives live birth after a gestation period, and the babies take an extremely long time to mature — one of the longest in the game. Once tamed, it harvests Hide, Raw Meat, Raw Prime Meat and other materials more efficiently than most player tools. Players go for Mammut when they need a reliable workhorse beyond their starter mounts.
