The Malfunctioned Tek Rex is a carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended.
Melee starts at 100% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. The Malfunctioned Tek Rex has 1,100 base Health - quite durable. Its base Stamina of 420 gives it respectable staying power. A base Weight of 500 means an enormous weight pool.
The Malfunctioned Tek Rex cannot be tamed and must be dealt with through combat or avoidance. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 32°C–34°C temperature window. Defeating one in the wild grants 30 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.87 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
