Kentrosauro Abilities

The Kentrosauro is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It falls within the Misc classification.

Melee starts at 100% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. Starting at 650 Health, it's solidly tanky. With 300 base Stamina, the Kentrosauro has average stamina. It carries 500 base Weight - an enormous weight pool.

The Kentrosauro is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. Feed it Regular Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.

After taming, the Kentrosauro is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 24°C–30°C temperature window. Killing a wild Kentrosauro yields 5 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.37 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
