The Archeotterige, a tamable, unknown creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a common sight across multiple maps. It falls within the Shoulder Pet classification.
Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Archeotterige brings decent hitting power to the table. At 125 base HP, the Archeotterige is very frail. With 150 base Stamina, the Archeotterige has moderate endurance. Weight capacity starts at 30, giving it not built for hauling.
You'll need to knock the Archeotterige unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. Feed it Simple Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
Once tamed, the Archeotterige is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 16°C and 20°C. Killing a wild Archeotterige yields 0.5 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.13 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
