Taming the Tricératops-X requires applying enough torpor to knock it out. Use tranquilizer projectiles, then place food in its inventory. Once unconscious, Torpor drains at 0.1/s, so keep Narcotics or Bio Toxin ready.
Use the torpor and starve timers to track your Tricératops-X tame in real time. Torpor monitoring prevents premature wakeups. The starve timer is for the starve-tame method - let Food drop, then load all kibble at once to avoid waste.
