Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~556 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~37h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~46h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted T-Rex-X gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.
The T-Rex-X reproduces by laying fertilized eggs after mating. Incubation temperature must stay between 32°C and 34°C - use Air Conditioners, Standing Torches, or Dimetrodons to maintain the range. At the correct temperature, the egg hatches in approximately 4 hours and 59 minutes.
Full maturation from baby to adult takes ~3 days and 20 hours (1x rate), progressing over an extremely long period, one of the longest in the game. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.
Offspring inherit parental stats and have a small chance to mutate, gaining +2 levels in a random stat. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
ARK: Survival Ascended features the T-Rex-X as a tamable, carnivore creature that survivors will encounter in the wild. It belongs to the Variant category.
Stamina sits at 420 base, providing solid stamina reserves. Its base Melee Damage sits at 105%, giving it respectable melee power. The T-Rex-X has 1,067 base Health - solidly tanky. Weight capacity starts at 500, giving it an enormous weight pool.
To tame the T-Rex-X , you need to knock it unconscious using torpor weapons, then feed it while it's down. For best results, use Exceptional Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.
As a tame, the T-Rex-X is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 32°C–34°C temperature window. A wild T-Rex-X is worth 30 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.87 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
Use the raising calculator to plan food requirements for raising T-Rex-X babies through all three growth stages. Budget ~556 minutes for the Baby phase - this is when hand-feeding or Maewing nursing is mandatory.
Adjust the dino count to calculate food for multiple T-Rex-X babies at once - essential for batch breeding operations. Consider food spoilage when choosing what to feed: Kibble lasts days, while Raw Meat spoils in minutes.
