At 850 base HP, the Deep Rat is solidly tanky. Melee starts at 100% - respectable melee power that scales with level-ups. Its base Stamina of 300 gives it decent staying power. Weight capacity starts at 400, giving it good carrying capacity.

The Deep Rat is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out. Its preferred food is Giant Bee Honey.

Once tamed, the Deep Rat earns its keep through resource gathering, making tedious farming runs much faster. Defeating one in the wild grants 7 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.45 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
