How comfort counts
| Rule |
|---|
| Only the highest comfort item of each category counts; more items of the same category add nothing. |
| Inside a player base the best item of each category anywhere in that base counts, wherever you stand in it; items outside that base do not count while you are in it. |
| Outside a base, comfort items count within 15 m of you; a Hearth counts within its own range. |
| Unless you are sheltered, only the Hearth category counts. |
| Music adds the comfort of instruments played nearby, at most 4 instruments and at most 15 in total. |
| Apart from the single best item per category and the music cap, the sum has no cap. |
| Warmth comes only from Hearth and Flame items in reach; the highest Frost Resistance among them counts. |
