Variant
X-Deinosuchus is a large carnivorous variant creature. It excels at gathering a wide range of resources while being carried by flying creatures for rapid deployment. It can be airlifted by Quetzal or Tusoteuthis to access remote resource nodes quickly. This makes it ideal for mobile harvesting operations in dangerous or elevated areas.

Killing X-Deinosuchus yields Hide, Raw Meat, and Raw Prime Meat. The Hatchet yields the most Hide, while the Pick is best for Raw Meat. Dinos specialized in Prime harvesting are optimal for Raw Prime Meat.
Estimates based on game-extracted data (weights, quantities, harvest multipliers, damage type chains). Each harvest event independently rolls each resource - higher weight = higher drop chance. Actual yields vary with RNG.
X-Deinosuchus gathers different resources depending on the attack used. Its TailSwing harvests Berries, Bio Toxin, Cementing Paste, Citronal, Longrass, Mejoberry, Narcoberry, Rare Flower, and various seeds at 10× efficiency. The GigaBiteRelease attack gathers Charcoal, Chitin, Fungal Wood, Keratin, Raw Salt, and Wood at 3× efficiency, along with moderate yields of Crystal, Metal, Obsidian, Oil, Stone, and Sulfur.
X-Deinosuchus has strong resistances to most damage types. It takes -90% less damage from melee attacks by humans. It is highly vulnerable to spike walls, which deal +200% damage. Instant HurtDinos effects also exploit a +100% weakness. Melee attacks with metal raid weapons are especially dangerous, adding +55% damage.

The head has a damage multiplier of 0.5x, making it less effective for knockouts. Target the body for reliable torpor buildup.
The TailSwing attack gathers berries and seeds at 10× efficiency. GigaBiteRelease harvests charcoal, chitin, and keratin at 3× yield. It is highly vulnerable to spike walls, taking +200% damage. Use this weakness in base defense setups. It can be carried by Quetzal for fast, long-range harvesting runs. Pair it with flyers to maintain weight reduction benefits during transport.
