Overview
The VR Dimorphodon is a small flying carnivore variant. It excels at aerial mobility and can be knocked out and tamed for utility purposes. This creature damages thatch structures and can be immobilized with a Bola or Bear Trap.
It is primarily used for early-game scouting and light structural damage in controlled environments.
Spawn Locations
VR Dimorphodon does not currently spawn on any ARK: Survival Ascended map, or spawn data is not yet available.
The VR Dimorphodon must be knocked out before taming. Use a Bola or Bear Trap to immobilize it, then apply tranquilizing tools. A Bow with Tranq Arrows, a Crossbow, or a Longneck Rifle with Tranquilizer Darts works effectively.
Feed it Raw Mutton for the fastest taming effectiveness. Raw Prime Meat is a viable alternative. The process takes about 6 minutes and requires approximately 19 Narcotics. Use the calculator below for your settings.
