Tropeognathus
Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~327 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~22h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~27h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted Tropeognathus gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.

The raising calculator above shows exactly how much food you need for each maturation phase of the Tropeognathus. Budget ~327 minutes for the Baby phase - this is when hand-feeding or Maewing nursing is mandatory.
Raising multiple Tropeognathus simultaneously? Set the dino count and the calculator scales food requirements automatically. Different food types have different spoil timers - factor that into which food you stockpile.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
After a successful mate, the Tropeognathus lays a fertilized egg. Incubation temperature must stay between 29°C and 32°C - use Air Conditioners, Standing Torches, or Dimetrodons to maintain the range. At the correct temperature, the egg hatches in approximately 1 hour and 39 minutes.
Full maturation from baby to adult takes ~2 days and 6 hours (1x rate), progressing requiring significant patience. Hand-feeding is required until 10% maturation. After that, a Feeding Trough handles the rest.
Each baby inherits stats from both parents with a chance of mutation - +2 wild levels to a random stat plus a color change. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
The Tropeognathus, a tamable, flying, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a common sight across multiple maps. It belongs to the Flyer category.
Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Tropeognathus brings respectable melee power to the table. The Tropeognathus has 360 base Health - decently sturdy. Its base Stamina of 250 gives it moderate endurance. Weight capacity starts at 340, giving it generous inventory space.
The Tropeognathus is passively tamed - approach it carefully and feed it by hand without knocking it out. Its preferred food is Exceptional Kibble.
Once tamed, the Tropeognathus is a versatile flyer useful for scouting, traversal, and light transport. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 29°C and 32°C. A wild Tropeognathus is worth 3 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.67 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
