The baby Trilobite takes approximately 3 days and 20 hours to fully mature at default rates - over an extremely long period, one of the longest in the game. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.
Mutations can add +2 levels to any stat and change colors. Stacking mutations across generations is the key to min-maxed breeding lines. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Raising a baby Trilobite involves three maturation phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~556 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~37h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~46h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprinting during maturation provides permanent stat bonuses. At 100% imprint, the Trilobite gains 30% bonus damage and resistance when ridden by the imprinter. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.

Planning a mass raise? The Trilobite raising calculator breaks down food needs per phase so nothing goes to waste. Expect ~556 minutes of active care during the Baby phase before it graduates to trough-feeding as a Juvenile.
Adjust the dino count to calculate food for multiple Trilobite babies at once - essential for batch breeding operations. Match your food choice to your play schedule - longer spoil timers mean less babysitting.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
The Trilobite is a herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended.
At 160 base HP, the Trilobite is on the squishy side. Melee starts at 100% - decent hitting power that scales with level-ups. With 100 base Stamina, the Trilobite has tires quickly. A base Weight of 150 means modest carrying capacity.
The Trilobite cannot be tamed and must be dealt with through combat or avoidance. Defeating one in the wild grants 1 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0 Element plus 0 Element per level.
