Tek Rex Spawn Command Generator

The spawn command tool lets you create console commands for spawning a Tek Rex with your desired settings. Multiple variants are available - use the selector to pick the version you want.

Command options include Summon (random level, at crosshair), SpawnDino (precise coords and level), and GMSummon (force-tamed at specified level). GMSummon is the most convenient for getting a tamed Tek Rex immediately. Open the admin console with Tab (PC) or through the pause menu on console. Admin privileges are required.

Tame Wild Tek Rex

ForceTame tames any dinosaur and makes it rideable without a saddle, and DoTame only tames tamable creatures.
Both tame the creature you are currently looking at.

Add Experience to Tek Rex

AddExperience levels up the dino you are riding and GiveExpToTarget levels up the creature/player your are looking at.

Kill Target

Kills the creature or player you are currently looking at.

Take All Dinos

Transfers ownership of all dinosaurs belonging to the targeted player or tribe to your current tribe. You must be looking at a dino owned by the target player/tribe.

Found throughout the ARKs, the Tek Rex is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It belongs to the Variant category.

Dealing 100% base Melee Damage, the Tek Rex brings decent hitting power to the table. The Tek Rex has 1,100 base Health - solidly tanky. Stamina sits at 420 base, providing good endurance. It carries 500 base Weight - excellent carrying capacity.

You'll need to knock the Tek Rex unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. For best results, use Exceptional Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.

Once tamed, the Tek Rex is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 32°C and 34°C. Defeating one in the wild grants 30 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.87 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
