The Tek Raptor is a variant of the standard Raptor, distinguished by its advanced Tek biology and enhanced capabilities. It excels at rapid deployment and structural damage, making it a potent raiding companion in Tek-tier conflicts. It can be airlifted by Argentavis or Karkinos for fast deployment.
It is frequently used to breach enemy bases due to its high melee damage against structures and resistance to certain damage types.
The Tek Raptor spawns in lunar-themed biomes across 1 ARK map. It is considered uncommon, appearing infrequently in its designated zones. Use the spawn map to locate green indicators, which show areas of highest spawn density.

Tame the Tek Raptor using the knockout method. The best food is Simple Kibble, which provides the fastest taming effectiveness. Raw Mutton also works well, offering nearly half the affinity of Simple Kibble. Use a Bola or Bear Trap to immobilize it before sedation. Effective knockout tools include the Bow with Tranq Arrows, the Longneck Rifle with Tranquilizer Darts, or the Tek Bow. The process takes about 10 minutes and requires no Narcotics. Use the calculator below for your settings.

Killing a Tek Raptor yields Scrap Metal, Electronics, Oil, and Element Dust. The Pick is the best tool for maximizing yield of all these resources.
Estimates based on game-extracted data (weights, quantities, harvest multipliers, damage type chains). Each harvest event independently rolls each resource - higher weight = higher drop chance. Actual yields vary with RNG.
The Tek Raptor has a +120% weakness to Instant HurtDinos, making it highly vulnerable to certain Tek-based attacks. It is -50% resistant to Melee WithProjectileImpactFX and Ranged Turret Small DefensePlant damage, reducing incoming fire from turrets and impact-based melee. It also has a +55% weakness to Melee DmgMetal RaidDino, making it susceptible to metal-structure-focused attacks. Level Health and Melee Damage.
