Scrap Elemental Overview
Survivors looking at Scrap Elemental in ARK: Survival Ascended will find a land-based minerals that is a practical workhorse - it can both gather and haul resources efficiently. Tamed via knockout taming (Sulfur is the optimal food), this minerals enters service with 25,000 base Health - an absolute bullet sponge. Breeding is disabled for Scrap Elemental, so each individual must be obtained directly rather than raised. Once tamed it harvests Crystal, Stone, Obsidian and other materials more efficiently than most player tools. Players who invest in one tend to keep it long after the early game has been left behind.
