Rex Taming Calculator
Taming the Rex requires applying enough torpor to knock it out. Use tranquilizer projectiles, then place food in its inventory. The Rex loses Torpor at 0.73 per second while unconscious - stay on top of narcotics.

Required Narcotics
The table shows how many sedatives you'll need to keep the Rex unconscious through the full taming duration. Bio Toxin is twice as potent as Narcotics (80 vs 40 Torpor per use), while Narcoberries work in a pinch at just 7.5 Torpor each. At 0.73 Torpor drain per second, apply narcotics proactively - a wakeup mid-tame wastes everything.
Starve & Torpor Timers
Use the torpor and starve timers to track your Rex tame in real time. Torpor monitoring prevents premature wakeups. The starve timer is for the starve-tame method - let Food drop, then load all kibble at once to avoid waste.
