Found throughout the ARKs, the Procoptodon is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It falls within the Breeding classification.

The Procoptodon has 400 base Health - moderately tough. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Procoptodon has decent hitting power. Stamina sits at 350 base, providing solid stamina reserves. Weight capacity starts at 550, giving it an enormous weight pool.

You'll need to knock the Procoptodon unconscious before taming it. Tranquilizers are the standard approach. Rare Mushroom is the most effective food for taming, offering the highest affinity per feeding.

After taming, the Procoptodon combines solid harvesting capability with generous carrying capacity. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.31 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
